Students were given 8 pages of paper, 12 popsicle sticks, a bottle of elmers glue, 4 paper clips, a pipe cleaner and 2 days to make the strongest bridge possible. On day 3, we put them to the test and our best bridge held 17lbs! Picture of winning team to come. What does it look like when you put 4 heads together, limit the materials they are given and ask them to build a bridge? The bridge challenge in DREAM lab. Students were given some paper, a few paper clips, a bottle of glue, a pipe cleaner, and some time to make the bridge that would hold the most weight. In 3 days, we will see which group will be victorious!
Thanks to Instructables, we were lucky enough to get a shipment of sugru. We will be working with it during build time to see what ways we can use it to help improve the world around us. Stop back and see what we come up with!
