Homework looks like this:
Monday we do a spelling pretest. If they pass out of it, they get the challenge list, if not, they are on the regular list. With the list comes a reading comprehension passage. That passage has questions on it and it is also in the homework folder. Both of the items use the same vocabulary, so the passage is a comprehension exercise, but also a way for the kids to work on their words. They need to answer in complete sentences and turn it in on friday. The other thing you will find in the homework folder is a grammar or math practice sheet - as of late, they have been grammar. This sheet will also be due on Friday. As a grade level the teachers also require the planner to be signed nightly. If the signatures aren't there by the end of the week, students may also miss star club for that. Math homework I can't really speak to except to tell you that each teacher will assign it differently. They will all have a different method in which they will assign/require it done. Science will be the same way - teacher dependent. Students need to bring their planner to class each day and are responsible for writing down their work in those two subjects.
